What ages do you teach?

Kids Acting Society welcomes students ages 6–12. But, we are currently working on our teen classes for ages 13-18. Please reach out if you are interested. We group students by age and experience whenever possible to ensure every child feels comfortable and challenged.

Does my child need acting experience?

Not at all! We welcome beginners as well as experienced young actors. Our classes are designed to help every student grow in confidence, creativity, and performance skills.

What will my child learn?

Students develop skills in:

  • TV & Film Scene Study

  • Commercial Audition Technique

  • Improvisation

  • Shakespeare

  • Character Development

  • Voice & Movement

  • Confidence & Public Speaking

  • On-Camera Performance

Who teaches the classes?

Classes are led by working professional actors and experienced instructors who have appeared in television, film, and theatre. Our goal is to provide students with real-world industry training in a fun and supportive environment.

Where are classes held?

We are currently at The Six Compound in Studio City and The Madnani Theatre in Hollywood

How long are classes?

Each class meets once a week for 90 minutes.

What should my child wear?

Comfortable clothing they can move in. Athletic shoes are recommended. No costumes are necessary.

What if my child has never acted before?

All children are actors. There beautiful imaginations will be their best friend in this workshop

Will my child perform?

Yes! Students regularly work on scenes, monologues, commercials, and on-camera exercises. Some sessions may conclude with a showcase for family and friends.

What if my child misses a class?

Because each class builds on the previous week, we encourage regular attendance. Please contact us immediately if your child will be absent. With scene study, each child is assigned a partner. If possible, please give us the opportunity to make sure no child is without a partner. Missed classes can be refunded.

Do you offer private coaching?

Yes! We offer:

  • 30-minute private coaching

  • 60-minute private coaching

  • Zoom coaching available

Private coaching is perfect for auditions, confidence building, monologues, commercials, self-tapes, and scene work.

How do I register?

Simply click Enroll Now on the class you’d like to join. Registration is completed online, and your child’s spot is reserved once payment is received.

What is your refund policy?

Tuition reserves your child’s place in class. Because space is limited, refunds are generally not available after registration. Please review our full Terms & Conditions before enrolling.

Can parents watch class?

To encourage independence and focus, classes are generally drop-off only unless otherwise announced. Parents are invited to attend showcases and special events.

What if my child is bouncing off the walls?

Good, so are we! But please have conversations with your child prior to class about being respectful of others. This is a safe place to have fun and explore but we will also be covering various acting techniques and styles. This is a learning environment.

What if my child is advanced?

Real actors are never advanced. When you go on set you have to work with whoever is hired to act opposite of you, no matter their skill level. It's best to get comfortable with that now! Also, this workshop will be taught like a master class for children, no matter the skill level.

What if my child is shy?

Some of the best actors are shy. We will continue to support and encourage your little one to express themselves and step into their own light. This is a great opportunity for them to work on finding their voice.

Yes. We strive to create a positive, respectful, and encouraging environment where every student feels welcome, valued, and supported.
